Mrs. Rakers
I grew up on a farm near a small town in east central Illinois and attended Western Illinois University where I graduated with degrees in park management and physical education. I also have a master's degree in teaching. After teaching and coaching in numerous school districts in Illinois, I came to Big Hollow in 2000.
I live in Woodstock with my husband and our dog, Ozzie. I have 2 adult children and one grandson. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, reading, and movies. My favorite sports teams are the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Fighting Illini. Big Hollow is a great place to teach and learn. I have the best job in the world! |
Mrs. Miller |
I grew up right here in Ingleside and attended Big Hollow as a student. I have been teaching in the general education classroom since 2001 and joined the Physical Education Department in 2015.
I live in Ringwood with my husband, two wonderful children, and our dog, Kody. My hobbies include running, biking, kayaking, (and anything fun outdoors) sewing, movies, and photography. My sister and I have a photography business together. You may have seen us photographing the annual Big Hollow 5K. I had a wonderful experience as a student at Big Hollow. I hope to help create wonderful memories for your children here as well. |
